Long Lasting Clock Help

Time should be the easy part.

Everything you need to set up a clear clock, personalize Clock Pro, and solve common problems.

01

Start using the clock

Open Long Lasting Clock and the time appears immediately. The app follows your device time by default. Rotate the device whenever you want to switch between portrait and landscape.

First choices

  • Tap the screen once to reveal the quick controls.
  • Choose 12- or 24-hour time and decide whether to show seconds and the date.
  • Use the size slider until the clock fills the space comfortably.
  • Enable Keep Screen Awake when the display should remain visible.
Good to know

Burn-in protection makes subtle position changes during long sessions. It is designed to preserve readability while reducing the chance of a static image remaining in one place.

02

Taps and swipes

The clock is designed to stay uncluttered, so the most common actions happen directly on the display.

  • Tap once: show or hide quick controls.
  • Swipe left or right: move naturally between the available clock faces.
  • Tap outside the settings panel: close the panel.
  • Lock the screen controls: prevent accidental changes during a presentation, class, or long display session.
Reduced Motion

If Reduce Motion is enabled in system accessibility settings, face changes use a quieter transition.

03

Display controls

Quick controls keep the most useful settings close without permanently covering the clock.

  • Adjust the clock size directly with the percentage slider.
  • Show or hide the date, place, and personal message.
  • Choose a clock face, color style, and suitable typeface.
  • Use the lock when the screen is positioned where someone might touch it accidentally.

The date and place share a consistent style and adapt to the available width. On compact iPhone layouts they may appear together to leave more room for the time.

04

Clock Pro

Clock Pro is a non-consumable lifetime purchase, not a subscription. Open Settings and choose Unlock Clock Pro to see the current local App Store price and complete the purchase.

Restore a previous purchase

  1. Confirm the device is signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  2. Open Settings in Long Lasting Clock.
  3. Choose Restore Purchases and allow Apple a moment to verify the transaction.
TestFlight

TestFlight purchases use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge real money. A sandbox purchase is separate from a future App Store purchase.

05

World clocks and places

Clock Pro can show the time in another time zone without using your physical location.

  1. Open Settings and choose World Clock.
  2. Select a city that uses the time zone you need.
  3. Edit the displayed place and country if you want a more personal label, such as “Torredonjimeno, España”.
  4. Use the quick control to show or hide the place without deleting it.

The custom place name is only a label. The selected time zone determines the actual time and daylight-saving changes.

06

A personal message

Clock Pro lets you add a short line above the time. Write your own, or begin with one of the included encouraging suggestions.

  • Keep it short enough to remain readable from a distance.
  • Choose its font, size, and color separately from the clock.
  • Use the quick control to hide the message while preserving it for later.

Your message remains on the device and is not sent to Long Lasting Apps.

Troubleshooting

The price cannot be loaded

Check the internet connection and App Store sign-in, then choose Try Loading Price Again. New App Store agreements or products can occasionally take time to become available.

Restore Purchases finds nothing

Use the same Apple Account that originally purchased Clock Pro. If the purchase was made in TestFlight, remember that it belongs to Apple’s sandbox rather than the live App Store.

The screen turns off

Open quick controls and enable Keep Screen Awake. Low Power Mode, system restrictions, or device management may still override this behavior.

A swipe changes the clock unexpectedly

Swipe mainly sideways. Vertical movement is left for scrolling settings, and taps still open or close controls.

The time appears wrong

For local time, check Date & Time in system settings. For a world clock, confirm that the selected city uses the intended time zone; the custom place label does not change the zone.

Text does not fit

Reduce the clock or message size slightly, or hide optional date and place details. The layout also adapts when the device is rotated.
