Choose the time zone
Open Settings → World Clock → Time Zone and choose a city in the zone you need. The clock displays one selected time zone at a time and follows its daylight-saving changes.
The app does not need your physical location. To return to local time, choose Device Time Zone.
Name and save a place
Choose the time zone first, then enter an optional place label. A label is text, not a location search. With Clock Pro, save up to five named time-zone presets in World Clock settings. Each keeps its time zone and label. Apply, rename or delete them in Settings, or select one from the Location button’s long-press menu.
After selecting the Location button, further taps cycle saved choices and Hide. Hiding the label does not change the selected time zone. Only one time zone is displayed at a time.
Write a personal message
- Open Settings → Personal Message.
- Write a short line or choose one of the suggestions. A message can contain up to 60 characters.
- Enable Show Personal Message.
- Choose its font, size and color. Use the clock’s text color if you want a coordinated look.
The message’s appearance is independent of the clock face. Use a short line that is readable at your normal viewing distance.
Clock Pro can save up to five named messages with their text, font, size and color in Personal Message settings. Changing the current message does not overwrite its saved version. Select a saved message from Settings or the Message button’s long-press menu.
Keep details ready for later
To show only your message, first enable it, then choose Hide in the Face or Appearance menu. The message moves to the centre. Date and place visibility remain independent; hide them too if you want a message-only display.
To restore the clock, select a face from its menu. To return to local time, choose Device Time Zone in World Clock settings. Hiding a place label alone never resets its time zone.
