The controls are missing or swiping does nothing
Press and hold the clock for just over one second to unlock its controls. Then tap the screen if needed. In Settings → Display, choose Always Visible if you want the controls to stay on screen.
Flip and Focus require Clock Pro. If a swipe prompts you to upgrade, the gesture is working but that face is not unlocked.
The screen turns off or the text does not fit
Check Settings → Display → Keep Screen Awake and keep the app open and active. It cannot keep the clock visible after you lock the device or switch to another app.
If text feels cramped, lower the clock or message size, hide optional details, or try the other orientation. With separate orientation sizes enabled, adjust the size in the orientation where the problem occurs.
The time is wrong
For local time, check the device’s Date & Time settings. If you use Clock Pro’s World Clock, check the selected time zone or switch back to the device’s time zone.
A custom place name is only a label. Typing a different city name does not select that city’s time zone.
Clock Pro and restoring a purchase
Clock Pro is an optional lifetime in-app purchase, not a subscription. Open Settings → Unlock Clock Pro to view the offer when available. The app shows the local price before a purchase.
- Use the Apple Account associated with the original purchase.
- Open the Clock Pro upgrade screen and choose Restore Purchases. If Pro is already active, the restore option also appears in Settings.
- Allow Apple to verify the transaction. If the price cannot load, check your connection and try the price-loading option again.
If you previously tested Clock Pro through TestFlight, that test purchase did not charge real money and cannot be restored as an App Store purchase.
Download and update from the App Store
Download Long Lasting Clock from the App Store. To check for a newer version, open its App Store page and choose Update if that option is available.
Include the app version and build number when reporting a problem. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step: doing so removes locally saved preferences and messages unless they are restored from an Apple-managed backup.
